Church: Serves one another

Acts 2:44-47 | And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

1. What example are we given by the early church for how we should take care of other believers?
2. How can meeting the needs of others in our body and in the community lead others following the Lord?
3. What part are you playing in serving or meeting the needs of others in and through the church?

James 1:27 | Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

4. Who do you know that is in need? What is their need? How can you help meet that need right now?
5. What needs are represented in your church or community? How can you partner with other believers to meet these needs?
