Life: The only Savior
Isaiah 43:11 | I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior.
Isaiah 45:21b-22 | For there is no other God but me, a righteous God and Savior. There is none but me. Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other.
1. The Old Testament and New Testament both point to Salvation through who?
2. How could the Old Testament point to salvation through Jesus when He hadn’t laid His life down on the cross yet?
3. Salvation was offered in the Old Testament before Jesus. How did the way of salvation in the Old Testament reflect or point to Jesus?
John 14:6 | Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
4. How does Jesus provide the way to the Father? What keeps us from getting to God the Father on our own?
Acts 4:11-12 | For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
