SATAN - The end of his story

Romans 16:20 | The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

  1. What does God promise He will do to Satan?

John 12:31 | The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out.

2 Peter 2:4 | For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of judgment.

  1. Last week we saw that we will all face judgement and ultimately two choices- Heaven or Hell. In these passages, who else will face this judgement?

  2. Thinking about what you learned last week, why hasn’t God already judged Satan and locked him in Hell forever? (Head back to 2nd Peter 3:15 for help)

Revelation 20:10 | Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

  1. What will happen to Satan in the end?

  2. How long will Satan stay in Hell being tormented?

  3. Who else will be in Hell? Who will be in Heaven? Where will you be?

  4. How does knowing the end of the story help you stay strong and resist Satan and his attacks?

  1. What do you think it means to be made in the image of God? (Think about how people are different than animals or anything else God made)

  2. Because people are made in God’s image, all people are important. Is there anyone in your life that you struggle to treat like they are important to God? If so, who? Why?

  3. Do you ever struggle to see yourself as important to God? To others? Why?

Isaiah 43:7 | “Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I [God] who created them.”

  1. According to this verse, why did God make people?

  2. How can people bring God glory?

  3. In what ways did you bring God glory today?
