DEATH - Crucified with sinners

Isaiah 53:10-12 | But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

Luke 23:32-33 | Two others, both criminals, were led out to be executed with him. When they came to a place called The Skull, they nailed him to the cross. And the criminals were also crucified—one on his right and one on his left.

1. Who was Jesus crucified with?
2. Jesus died a death He did not deserve. How do we see that in the crucifixion?
3. The men crucified with Jesus deserved their death, but what is told to one of the men because of his faith? (Read Luke 23:39-43 to find out)
4. What does this account teach you about God’s love, grace, and mercy?
5. Is there anyone who cannot be saved? Is it ever too late for someone to receive salvation?
6. Spend some time praying today for people in your life who still need to put their faith in Jesus. Invite them to Easter service this weekend!
