GOSPEL - Savior of the World: Part Two
Romans 10:9-13 | If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Revelation 5:9 | And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
What does it mean that Jesus’ blood has ransomed (paid the price for a person’s freedom) people from every — Tribe? Language? People? Nation?
Is there any type of person who cannot be saved? Why or why not?
If Jesus paid for the sins of people from all nations and languages, who does He want to be saved?
Do you think the Gospel message is spread evenly all over the world? Do some places know it more or hear it more often than others? Where and why? What can be done to change this?
