Jesus washes Judas’ feet: Do Good & Bless

Luke 6:27-28 | “But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.”

  • Yesterday, we were challenged to love and pray for our enemies.

    • Who did you identify as your enemy and why do you consider them one?

    • Did you spend any time praying for them yesterday or today? Why or why not?

  • Jesus added to instructions for loving our enemies in this passage with two more things to do. What are they?

  • Jesus doesn’t just guide our actions in this passage, but also our words (with bless instead of curse). Who do you speak to about your enemies and how does your conversation need to change?

  • How can you do good to your enemy(ies) today? If you’re not sure, go back to the Lord in prayer for your enemy again today and ask!
