Know: The result

Psalm 1:1-3 | Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. 

• In Psalm 1, the righteous person who does what is right is directly linked to loving and meditating on God’s Word. Why is this? 

• What promises are given to the disciple who knows God’s Word in Psalm 1? 

  • How are these things possible because of time in God’s Word? 

  • Have you seen these promises in your own life? In what ways or why not? 

• There is joy for the person who knows and lives out God’s Word. Why? Is this true for you?
