Devoted: Assembling together

Ephesians 5:15-17 | So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

Hebrews 10:23-25 | Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

  • Why is it important for God’s followers to meet together?

  • How is meeting with other believers “wise” and “the most of the opportunity”?

  • How often do you meet with God’s people in church or Bible study? Does this need to change? Why or why not?

  • What purpose does meeting together with other believers have according to Hebrews 10? How can you live out these purposes when you’re with other believers?
