Jesus fulfills the law: For our salvation

Romans 10:4 | For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. 

  • What was God’s purpose for giving the law? 

    • How did the law guide? 

    • How did the law condemn (declare guilty)?

    • How did the law point to Jesus? 

  • How did Jesus fulfill or accomplish the law’s purpose? When did this happen? 

  • Jesus’ fulfillment of the law made salvation possible. Why is this? 

  • Romans 10:4 says that all who believe in Jesus are saved (made right in God’s sight). 

    • What is the difference between knowledge and belief? 

    • How does belief save (but knowledge not)?
