1st John 2:28 | And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.

  • Why would someone shrink back when Jesus returns? 

  • What does it mean to be ‘full of courage’ at Christ’s return? Who will feel this way? 

  • Think through your day. At what points would you have been ashamed or embarrassed if Jesus joined you at that moment? At what points would you have been excited? 

  • How do you want to ‘be found’ living by Jesus at His return? What, if anything, do you need to change so this will be true?
