Hidden Treasure: Saved by His Grace

Ephesians 2:8-9 | God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

• God views you as a worthwhile, priceless treasure. Even though people are valuable to God, we are helpless on our own. Why is that?

• How has God shown you grace (or freely given you an undeserved gift)?

• Do you ever try to earn your salvation? How?

• Ephesians 2:9 tells us that we can boast or brag about ourselves because we didn’t earn our salvation. Who should be boast about instead? Do you do this? In what ways or why not?
