Hidden Treasure: Rescued so… Part 2

1 Peter 1:18-19 | For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

Romans 12:1 | And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

• Because Jesus rescued you, how should live according to Romans 1?

• What does living as a sacrifice to God look like? Does this describe your life? In what ways or why not?

• The parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Value show us that we are worth everything to Jesus, even His life. Is Jesus worth everything to you, even your life? Why or why not?

• Part of giving your life in return for Christ’s is joining in His mission by sharing His love with others. How will you let others know that they are worth everything to God?
