4 Soils: The Fruit produced by Jesus

Philippians 1:11 | May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

  • The good soil bears fruit — who produces this fruit in the life of God’s follower?

  • How does Jesus grow fruit in your life? What does that process look like?

  • How often are you practicing the spiritual disciplines (or christian exercises like reading your Bible, going to church, fasting, tithing, prayer, sharing Jesus with others)? How does your answer relate to the fruit that is or is not visible in your life?

  • After a week of looking at the four soils, which soil are you? What soil do you want to be? If those two answers don’t match, what needs to be done about it?
