The Growing Seed: Mature followers live for Christ, not for themselves

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 | Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

  • In what ways are you living for yourself?

  • In what ways are you living for God?

  • As a follower of God matures (grows), they should live less for themself and more for God — until every aspect of their life is His. Thinking about your own life and your answers to the last two questions, what is one way you can work on maturing, or living for God instead of yourself? How will you begin that today?
