Deborah: Trusting God’s will

Proverbs 3:5-6 | Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

  • What does it look like to trust God with your whole heart? Do you trust God in this way? Why or why not?

  • How is trusting God different then leaning on your understanding?

  • How can someone find God’s will?

  • How often do you seek God’s will? Are you more likely to depend on your own heart and understanding or to really try understanding God’s will for you? Why?

  • Barak trusted his own understanding instead of listening to God. What were the consequences? What can we learn from his example?
