Journey--Invited to come: Believe and confess (declare)

Romans 10:9-10 | If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

  • According to Romans 10:9-10, how do we respond to Jesus’ invitation to “come” follow Him? 

  • What is the difference between believing and declaring (or confessing with your life)? 

    • Where does each one occur? 

    • Why are both important? 

  • What promise is there for those who respond to Jesus in this way? What are they saved from? 

  • Look at your actions. Do they declare your belief? In what ways or why not?
