Promise Keeper: Issac- Promised life because of Jesus

John 3:16 | For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

• Why would God be willing to sacrifice His only Son? 

  • How is this similar to what Abraham experienced? 

  • How, if at all, is it different? 

• What promise is made to all who put their faith in God’s only Son- Jesus as the one way of rescue?

• God considered you, if you are His follower, worth the life of His Son. 

  • Does this surprise you at all? Why or why not?
