Psalm 119 calls God’s Word a lamp to guide your feet. How does the Bible guide your everyday choices?

What things get in the way of following the Bible for your every day choices?
Psalm 119 calls God’s Word a light for your path. How does the Bible guide your future choices (like your college, job, spouse, family, where you live, etc.)?
What other things try to guide your future choices?
Have you ever promised God that you would obey His Word?
If so, when and how has that promise gone?
If not, why? Would you consider making that promise now?
What steps do you take to make sure you obey God’s instructions?
How determined are you to live a life that lines up with the Bible?
