Jesus loved God by obeying Him: Obedience is a testimony
John 8:29b | “For I always do what pleases him.”
John 14:31 | But I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father.
Why did Jesus choose to obey and please the Father?
How did Jesus’ obedience show the world who Jesus was and what His life was about?
How can your obedience or disobedience show people what you believe and value (consider most important)?
Look at your obedience/disobedience, especially around your peers/friends.
What does it show you value most?
If this isn’t Jesus, how is your obedience/disobedience impacting your testimony? Why is this a problem?
If you do choose to obey, do you let people know why you choose to do what is right? If not, how is this impacting your testimony?
How can you boldly (but humbly) use your obedience to point others to Jesus?
