Shield of Faith: Salvation

Romans 1:17 | This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”


Ephesians 2:8 NASB | For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.


  • What is faith? 

  • How is faith linked to salvation? Why is faith required? 

  • To be saved, what does a person need to put their faith in? In other words, what do they need to believe, even though it can’t be proven? 

  • When did you put your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If you haven’t, what aspect of saving faith are you still struggling with?
