Promise Keeper: Moses & the burning bush: Our weaknesses can glorify God

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 | Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

  • Why does God’s power work best in weakness? [Younger kids: Do you need God’s power to work in your more in places you’re strong or weak? Why?]

  • What are some of your weaknesses?

  • How can God use your weaknesses for His glory?

  • Do you try to hide your weaknesses or to appear stronger than you are? Why? How would this prevent God from showing His power through you?
