Prince of Peace: Waiting on the Good Lord

Lamentations 3:25-26 | The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.

  • What does it mean to depend on someone or something?

  • Who are some people you depend on? Do you depend on anything other than people? If so, what?

  • Can you depend on (trust) the Lord? How do you know?

  • Does your ability to trust God show in your actions when you’re struggling or in trouble? Do you wait on Him or do you try to handle things your own way? Why?

  • Lamentations tells us to wait quietly for the Lord to save. What does this mean and is it something you practice?
