James 3:17-18 | But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
What is wisdom? Where does it come from?
Ephesians 4:3 | Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
What Spirit are we united in with other followers of Jesus?
When you disagree with someone or someone disagrees with you,
Hebrews 12:14 | Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
Why is peace something to “work at” or something that requires effort?
Why is peace important between you and people outside of the body of Christ?
Ephesians 4:2-6 | Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all,
who is over all, in all, and living through all.
Romans 14:19 | So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.
What is harmony? Why should it be the goal of the church?

Colossians 3:15 | And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
