It's Go time: Get Set

Luke 2:52 | Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people. 

• While He was young, Jesus prepared Himself for the work God would call Him to do. This made Him ready to go! What are some ways he “got set” or grew in?

• Have you been purposefully growing in wisdom? How?

• How can a person grow in favor with God? How can they grow in favor with people? Are you doing these things?

2nd Timothy 3:16-17 | All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work. 

• God uses His Word to get us “set” or ready to “Go” for when He brings an opportunity to share Jesus our way. How does the Bible get us ready?

• What are you doing to grow in your knowledge of God’s Word?

• If someone came to you struggling with something, would you be able to take them to a verse that can help? What can you do to get set so that you’re ready when this opportunity comes your way?
