  • What does a heart that is close to God look like?

    • What kinds of things does that person do? Say? Think about?

    • What kinds of things does that person not do? Not say? No think about?

  • How does this compare to someone whose lips say they follow God, but their heart does not?

    • What do they do? Say? Think about?

    • What do they not do? Not say? Not think about?

  • Isaiah 29 talks about heartless worship that is learned by rote— it is just memorized or repeated
