Timeless Truth: Series Intro

Timeless | Unaffected by the passing of time, changing seasons, values, or preferences. Something applicable every minute, every year, and in every generation.

Favorite foods, colors, styles, and hobbies… they can all change with time. Culture changes. Even laws change. But what about the truths of God’s Word? Do they ever expire?

We see both that God’s Word is Timeless Truth. 

Psalm 119:160 | The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.

Isaiah 40:8 | The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.

Because of this, understanding the whole of God’s Word – from even before the beginning of time to the events foretold of the future – is essential for God’s followers. His Word is full of truths – principles His followers should live by. Our goal through the Timeless Truth series is to understand God’s timeless message – the story of His love, Jesus’ rescue, and the truths we should live by – as it is seen from Genesis chapter 1 to Revelation chapter 22. It is Truth that stands for all time.
