In the Beginning - Rescued from this evil world

Galatians 1:4 | Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live.

• Why does Galatians 1:4 call this world evil? 

  • Why do we need to be rescued from it? 

• Galatians 1:4 says Jesus gave His life to rescue us from this evil world but we remain in the world even after following Jesus. How are we still rescued from it? 

• Jesus set an example for us of what it looks like to live in an evil world but not be part of the world’s evil. Based on His example, what are some ways you can live like He did?
