GOSPEL ESSENTIALS: Saved by faith

Romans 3:24-25a | Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. 

Romans 10:9 | If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

  • What does it mean to be made right in God’s sight?

  • How is a person saved (made right in God’s sight)? What must they believe?

  • What, if anything, must ta person say/do to be saved?

  • Have you put your faith in Jesus? When? How?

  • Who do you know that still needs to trust in Jesus? Spend time praying for them today!
